The DC Academy lab is a compact, three‑rack replica data centre designed to mirror the look, feel, and functionality of a real operational facility. It is fully equipped and fully functional. Through our Datacenter Academy Programme—supported by Microsoft—we are pleased to offer you a pathway toward valuable industry skills. Alongside the learning content, you will have the opportunity to earn industry‑recognized certifications as part of your course. These credentials demonstrate to employers that you are prepared for roles such as ICT Support Technician, Datacenter Technician, and IT Administrator. With Level 6 accreditation, the programme provides the skills and knowledge aligned to network and server administration roles. This programme is supported by the European Social Fund.

The Datacenter Academy is a community skilling program that collaborates with local education partners to create pathways into the datacenter industry. By building strong partnerships with local vocational schools and community colleges, DCA helps expand access to technical education and career development in the communities where Microsoft datacenters are located. The program supports local institutions through five core pillars: curriculum alignment, scholarships and financial aid, mentorship, simulation labs, and work experience. DCA’s goal is to empower communities with the tools, guidance, and opportunities to pursue sustainable careers in digital infrastructure.

Our aim

To equip learners with practical, industry‑aligned data centre and IT administration skills through hands‑on experience in a fully functional replica data centre environment, supported by structured learning pathways and industry‑recognized certifications, enabling progression into technical roles such as ICT Support Technician, Datacenter Technician, and IT Administrator.
