At Collinstown Park Community College the following fees structure is in place for all Irish & EU citizens.

All students are required to pay a Non-Refundable Deposit to secure their place on a course.

Course fees are payable to cover the cost of examination fees, certification &exam material, photocopying, student cards etc. Some courses have additional fees for additional training & specialist equipment the college will advise student of this at interview.

Fees

 The Fees are as follows: 

Non-refundable Deposit €50 
Course Fees €130
Additional fees vary for specific courses to include specific materials training & specialist requirements.

Some exemption may apply if in receipt of some Dept. of Social Protection Benefits.

In exceptional circumstances funding for books, & equipment may be supported by the college. An eligibility criteria will apply for this support.

Funding Schemes 

There are several funding schemes available for eligible students, which include -

VTOS (Vocational Training Opportunities Scheme)

Certain applicants may be eligible to avail of the VTOS scheme. VTOS students have no fees to pay and obtain books and stationery free of charge. A weekly food and travel allowance is payable to many VTOS students.

Who qualifies for VTOS:

Applicants over 21 years of age.

In receipt of a qualifying payment from Dept. of Social Protection for at least six months (156 days) before the course start date.

In some cases, International protection applicants may qualify for VTOS – Applications are assessed on an individual basis. As a guide

International protection applicants need a TRC (blue IPO) card & a Work Permit.
Applicants with refugee Stamp 4 status need a IRP card & 6 months receiving jobseekers allowance or similar payment

BTEI (Back to Education Initiative)

Some applicant may be eligible of avail of BTEI initiative. This funding provides part-time education programmes. These courses are government & ESF funded and there are no course fees.

It aims to give participants an opportunity to combine a return to learning with family, work, & other responsibilities.

Who qualifies for BTEI:

BTEI for young people (over 16yrs) & adults usually for those who have not completed an Irish Leaving Certificate or an equivalent qualification.

SUSI (Student Universal Support Ireland)

This grant is Ireland’s single national awarding authority for all higher & further education grants. SUSI offers funding to eligible students for level 5 & level 6 courses at Collinstown Park Community College of Further Education & Training.
